In the old anti-absinthe posters funded by French and Swiss temperance organizations, absinthe is personified as a skeleton monster thing with bleeding eyes, but in pro-absinthe posters, like these ones protesting the bans of 1910 and 1915, absinthe is still the green fairy, a beautiful, topless lady with nice hair.
